About Ooty

Ooty (Udhagamandalam) is the best-known hill station of the Nilgiris. The Government Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake and Doddabetta peak are the classic sights, while the UNESCO-listed Nilgiri Mountain Railway offers a slow, scenic ride. The route from Bengaluru passes Mysuru and the Bandipur and Mudumalai forests.
