About Kodachadri
Kodachadri rises to about 1,340 metres in Shivamogga district. Jeeps and trekking trails lead through forest to grassland ridges and the Sarvajna Peetha shrine linked with Adi Shankaracharya. It combines well with a visit to the Mookambika temple at Kollur and the coast around Udupi.
