Chikkamagaluru is the heart of Karnataka’s coffee country. Mullayanagiri, the state’s highest peak, and the Baba Budangiri range rise above rolling estates, and waterfalls such as Hebbe and Jhari are reached by jeep tracks. The Hoysala temples of Belur and Halebidu are an easy detour on the way.
